10K-A-Day Wellness Challenge Winners

Following six weeks of tracking activity, answering trivia questions and completing Step It Up Challenges, we have our winners!

Almost 13 MILLION steps in just 6 weeks. That’s the combined result of Olympic Steel’s 10K-A-Day Challenge, which ran from September 7 through October 18.


112 participants, 15 teams, 13 divisions and 12,968,289 steps to be specific!


The 10K-A-Day Challenge wasn’t just counting steps, though. It was also about taking steps to develop healthier habits. To that end, participants earned points for themselves and their teams by completing trivia and weekly wellbeing-focused challenges.


And, without further ado, the winning teams for the 2020 10K-A-Day Wellness Challenge are:


  • FIRST PLACE: FROG PANTS (CHAMBERSBURG, PA)

215.75 points; 2,581,043 steps with 23 Step It Up challenges


  • THIRD PLACE: ROAD WARRIORS (CLEVELAND/CORPORATE, OH)

213.67 points; 2,404,749 steps with 34 Step It Up challenges

First-place team members will receive Beats by Dre Powerbeats Pro wireless earphones. Second-place team members will receive the Fitbit Versa 2. And, third-place team members will receive a $100 Dick’s Sporting Goods gift card.


Congratulations to our winners and participants for stepping out of your comfort zone to compete in the 10K-A-Day Walking Challenge.
