2024 Company Culture Survey Results

In 2021, we conducted our first Company Culture Survey. Since then, we’ve used your feedback to continue enhancing Olympic Steel’s culture, including our programs, policies, employee recognition and other opportunities to engage with one another and make our Company a welcoming and inclusive workplace.
In May 2024, 42% of our workforce participated in another Company Culture Survey.
To compare one year to another, we kept the majority of questions the same. When comparing that content from 2021 to 2024, we scored higher (that’s a good thing) for these questions:
We also asked participants what three words best describe Olympic Steel’s culture. The words used most often are teamwork, safety and respect/friendly.

What’s Next?
Thank you to everyone who participated. Divisional results will be shared locally by the end of the year. And, the feedback from this survey will help us organize focus groups in 2025, and aid in action planning, too. More to come!
