As we navigate our daily lives, safety remains a top priority. Every June, Olympic Steel and other companies nationwide observe National Safety Month, an annual initiative aimed at raising awareness and reducing preventable injuries and illnesses. Spearheaded by the National Safety Council (NSC), this month-long campaign serves as a reminder of the importance of safety in our workplaces, homes and communities.

The primary goal of National Safety Month is to empower individuals and organizations to identify and mitigate risks, ultimately preventing accidents and injuries. Whether it's through education, training, or adopting safety protocols, the focus is on fostering a culture of safety that transcends beyond the month of June.
