Employees from our Schaumburg and Gary divisions take advantage of our MSCI membership by participating in networking events that give them the opportunity to build their professional network and grow together as the future of the metals industry.

In May, employees from our Schaumburg, IL and Gary, IN divisions took advantage of a networking opportunity by attending the FORGE AHEAD evert hosted by the Metals Service Center Institute, referred to as MSCI. The event gave Gen Zs and Millennials in the metals industry a chance to connect, build their networks and grow together as the future of the metals industry.

For decades, Olympic Steel has been in the metals business. After all, our mission statement is “to achieve profitable growth by safely providing quality business solutions for metal product users”. As part of the metals industry, we strive to present our employees with opportunities within the industry, but not necessarily only within the walls of Olympic Steel.
