Customer Appreciation in the Quad Cities

Many customers joined us for our recent Customer Appreciation event in the Quad Cities.

During our busy lives, sometimes we need to make time to pause and thank those who make our work possible. That’s just what our Bettendorf, Iowa employees did when they hosted their first-ever Customer Appreciation event this fall. Not only did they want to thank customers for their continued partnership, but the event allowed us to showcase our facility as well.

Customers across several industries – including agriculture equipment, transportation OEMs, manufacturers, fabricators, and more – joined us for a golf outing and dinner at the historic Hotel Blackhawk in Davenport, followed by a tour of our Bettendorf facility.

Jeff Johnson, Regional Sales Manager, said, “This was a great opportunity for our flat rolled and pipe and tube teams to spend quality time with our customers.” He went on to say that every customer in attendance shared how much they appreciated the invitation and our team’s hospitality. We take great pride in exceeding our customers’ expectations, and we build relationships by anticipating, understanding and fulfilling their needs. This sentiment was on full display during this successful two-day event.

Olympic Steel’s team in attendance included John Mooney, Rich Manson, Dave Stires, Tom Sacco, Scott Zito, Terry Rohde, Andy Annakin, Matt Grussing, Wade Bergland, Mike Heenan and Ron Adkison (CTI). Team members from Outside Sales, Inside Sales, Purchasing, Accounting, Operations, Quality, Transportation, and IT from Iowa, Minnesota, and Indiana all helped to ensure our customers had a wonderful experience.
