Integrity Stainless, based in Streetsboro, Ohio, specializes in specialty metals and is a precision stainless steel and aluminum slitting operation.
HISTORY
Integrity Stainless began as a small brokerage in 2005 in Solon, Ohio. It was founded by Andy Markowitz – named as a direct reflection of his intention to include honesty and ethics in all aspects of the business. With a small core team, Integrity Stainless grew to $10 million in sales in just five years. In 2010, Integrity Stainless became a subsidiary of Olympic Steel.
Integrity Stainless operates a 66,000 square foot facility in Streetsboro, Ohio and a 47,000 square foot facility in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. With a focus on precision stainless and aluminum slitting, Integrity Stainless offers skiving, edging/deburring, sheared and gauered flat bar, and cut-to-length capabilities.
PRODUCTS
Integrity Stainless’ Latrobe facility provides secondary material cut to length and sheared from coil into sheet. The Streetsboro facility processes and delivers prime stainless steel and aluminum strip in slit coils, as small as 1/2” in width. Coiled strip can also be oscillate wound, producing a spool of strip to reduce downtime for reloading and restarting equipment. Edge conditioning reduces burr during the slitting process and can provide a safety edge, or can go a step further to produce a rounded edge with skiving.
Aluminum and stainless strip from Integrity Stainless are found in many products. While the brand provides metal for struts in trucks and trailers, hose clamps and industrial hoses, you also likely run across it in your daily life. Pots and pans, appliances, doorknobs and pulls, door hinges and electrical outlets are just some of the items that include this form of metal.
