Manufacturing Day showcases and celebrates the reality of modern manufacturing careers through education and awareness.

Olympic Steel is one of the leading metals service centers in the United States.

We sell and distribute processed carbon and coated sheet, plate and coil products; stainless steel sheet, plate, bar and coil; aluminum sheet, plate and coil; pipe, tube, valves and fittings; tin plate and metal-intensive branded products across the country.

Our metal contributes to the creation of agricultural, farm, construction, mining, electrical and industrial equipment, in addition to supplying metal to the transportation, appliance, military and automotive industries.

In fact, WE ARE! On 10/1, the first Friday in October, we’re celebrating Manufacturing Day across all Olympic Steel locations. After all, being part of the industry that keeps America moving is worth celebrating. And, we’re celebrating with banners to dress up the divisions and giveaways for all employees to show our appreciation.

Manufacturing Day (MFG Day), organized by the Manufacturing Institute, was created to show the reality of modern manufacturing careers by encouraging companies and educational institutions across the country to open their doors to students, parents, teachers and community leaders. On this day, and throughout the month of October, manufacturers come together to address challenges and celebrate our impact to help our communities and future generations thrive.
