May 2021 Monthly Safety Report

Our Key Performance Indicators continue to show improvement in all three categories, and we’ve recorded the lowest TRIR since December 2016.

April Health and Safety Data was reported late last month, and we’re showing improvement across the board.

Our Key Performance Indicators (KPI), the measurable values we use to evaluate our progress toward meeting our Safety objectives, again showed improvement in all three categories – OSHA recordable injuries, Other Case Incident Rate (OCIR) injury events and Days Away, Restricted or Transferred (DART) injury events. Here are the highlights:

  • OSHA recordable injuries decreased 51.2%, from 86 in 2020 to 42 in 2021
  • OCIR decreased 41.9%, from 31 in 2020 to 18 in 2021
  • DART decreased 56.4%, from 55 in 2020 to 24 in 2021

And, our year-over-year performance at a glance:

And, for the first time since December 2016, our Total Recordable Incident Rate is less than or equal to the Industry Mean Benchmark (3.7).

CONGRATULATIONS, Olympians, and thank you for continuing our relentless dedication to Safety!
