Metal-Fab Recognized for Corporate Citizenship
Metal-Fab has supported the United Way of the Plains for 40 years, and their contributions were recently recognized.
Corporate Citizenship is one of our ten Core Values and Metal-Fab was a champion in Corporate Citizenship long before they joined the Olympic Steel family.
For 40 years, Metal-Fab and Metal-Fab employees have supported the United Way of the Plains with an annual campaign to raise money and awareness for the organization.
In 2023, they raised more than 20% more than the previous year and were recognized by the United Way of the Plains for this outstanding accomplishment with the United Way Corner Stone Award.
Angela Pruitt, HR Generalist, and Nicole Strohm, HR Specialist, lead Metal-Fab’s month-long United Way campaign last fall. Both of them received the Outstanding Champion 2023 Award in recognition of their leadership and management of the 2023 fundraising campaign.
Congratulations to Angela, Nicole and the entire Metal-Fab team for this well-deserved recognition! This is an excellent example of how we put our Core Values into action by supporting organizations near where we live and work.
