Olympic Steel Announces Completion of Southeast Region Expansion

The expansion and reorganization of the southeast region was initiated by the growth of and requests from several key customer accounts in the region and supports Olympic Steel’s profitable growth strategy.

On June 1st, Olympic Steel shared a press release discussing the completion of expansion work that began in our southeast region in 2019. The expansion includes the relocation of the region’s fabrication equipment to a new facility in Buford, Georgia, as well as the reorganization of equipment and workflow in the existing facility in Winder, Georgia.

The expansion and reorganization of the southeast region was initiated by the growth of and requests from several key customer accounts in the region and supports Olympic Steel’s profitable growth strategy.


The final stages of the expansion were safely completed over the past few weeks and put the region in a strong position as we continue the reopening and recovery process, following the COVID-19 pandemic.
