Olympic Steel, headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, is a leading U.S. metals service center, supplying material, products and services to customers from a wide variety of industries.
OVERVIEW
Olympic Steel was founded in 1954 as a family-owned steel warehouse for distribution. Today, the Company spans a vast array of divisions, subsidiaries, process and products across a large portion of the United States and in Mexico. Our Executive Team of Rick Marabito, Chief Executive Officer; Andrew Greiff, President and Chief Operating Officer; and Rich Manson, Chief Financial Officer, lead our $2.2 billion publicly traded enterprise and more than 2,100 employees.
BUSINESS GROUPS
Our four Business Groups are the umbrellas for the major categories of metals and products that we supply through our network of more than 49 distribution and fabrication facilities.

We report earnings under three Business Segments that roll-up the performance of our various major metal product groups – Specialty Metals, Pipe & Tube and Carbon Flat Rolled.
PROCESSES
Our processes range from cutting-to-length, temper passing, stretcher leveling, slitting and shearing, along with fabrication services such as blanking, plate burning, machining, welding, painting and more.
Fabrication has opened up opportunities for investment in new technology to support more value-added processing. Our fabrication capabilities allow us to provide various levels of processing to meet customer needs from parts and components up to finished products and fully welded structures. Today, we operate more than 350 pieces of manufacturing equipment, with some type of fabrication services offered in the majority of our locations. Our fabrication business is a key area of focus for continued growth of the Company.
PRODUCTS
We provide value-added processing and direct sale of a wide selection of products and grades including: carbon and coated sheet, plate, and coil steel products; stainless steel sheet, plate, bar and coil; aluminum sheet, plate and coil; pipe, tube, bar, valves and fittings; tin plate and metal-intensive end-use products, including water treatment systems; commercial, residential and industrial venting and air filtration systems; Wright® brand self-dumping hoppers; metal canopy components; and EZ-Dumper® dump inserts.
We work with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), fabricators and other service centers, distributors and end users from diverse industries, including transportation, automotive, food and beverage, agriculture, construction and telecommunications.
