Open Enrollment for 2024 Coverage

Your chance to make changes to your benefit elections – don’t miss out!

Attention All Employees, except Chicago, Tube & Iron and Berlin Metals Union employees.

Mark your calendars for 2024 Open Enrollment: November 6 - November 17.

This is your one chance to make changes to your benefit elections, unless you experience a qualifying life event. Whatever the change, whatever the reason – this is the time to make it happen, and here’s what you need to know:

• Changes made during Open Enrollment are effective January 1, 2024.
• This year’s Open Enrollment is an ACTIVE ENROLLMENT. This means if you do not complete the Open Enrollment process by November 17, you will not have benefits for 2024.
• All enrollments must be completed online. You will receive specific instructions before the enrollment window begins.
• Administrative and Sales employees will receive an email with a link to information. They do not need to attend a formal presentation; however, three zoom calls will be scheduled for Administrative and Sales employees to join and ask Open Enrollment-related questions.
• Production employees will attend in-person meetings. Those meeting dates/times will be posted locally before Open Enrollment begins.

If you’re not enrolled in any of the benefits plans Olympic Steel offers, you’ll still need to log on to access your account and update the following:

• Life Insurance Beneficiaries
• Add / Remove / Waive coverage
• Update personal/profile contact information
