We’re getting safer. Together.

After the first three quarters of 2020, the numbers are in and we’re continuing to work safer. Here are the latest results of our relentless focus on safety:

• Two divisions have completed the first 9-months of 2020 without an OSHA Recordable – Congratulations to the teams on Dover, OH and Mt. Sterling, KY!
• Four divisions have completed Q3 with ZERO OSHA Recordables – Congratulations to our Cleveland, OH; Milford, CT; Minneapolis, MN (Plate facility) and Berlin Metals (Hammond, IN) teams!
• Our Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) has improved 42% – when comparing the current rate of 4.3 to the peak rate of 7.4 from October 2019. 
• Our overall number of injuries has improved 3.3x faster (steeper slope) than the decrease in hours worked.
