Rob Powers’ career has grown by leaps and bounds over the past decade. He started with Chicago Tube & Iron (CTI) as a Pipe Valve and Fitting (PVF) Specialist in March 2010. Rob was happy to join an established company that was positioning itself for a successful future by investing in buildings, equipment and people. Rob showed up with ambition, ready to build a successful career.

He quickly advanced and took on new opportunities. After three years, Rob became Marketing Manager, PVF, and in January 2016 was promoted to Director of Marketing, PVF. He’s most proud of the phenomenal growth the PVF group has attained since 2017. Rob says because business decisions get made quickly and efficiently – CTI is more agile than many competitors.

Rob also praises CTI’s commitment to education and investment in employees. He credits the tuition support program for being instrumental in his career success. It helped him earn his MBA with a concentration in Marketing at Northern Illinois University.
