Sol Siegal Scholarship Recipients – Where Are They Now?

Our Sol Siegal Scholarship deadline is quickly approaching. Let’s see how some of our past recipients used their scholarships and what they’re up to now.

You’ve heard of the Sol Siegal Scholarship. Now, after 33 years of giving let’s see how some of our recipients made the most of this opportunity, and what they’re up to now!

Sol Siegal was one of only two in his family to earn a high school diploma. After graduating, he served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserve and, eventually, founded Olympic Steel. Sol passed away in 2013. In 2004 – Olympic Steel’s 50th anniversary, the Sol Siegal Scholarship Program was created to honor Sol’s commitment to family, education and hard work. Since then, the program has been awarded to more than 190 deserving, dedicated and hard-working children and dependents of Olympic Steel employees

The 2023-2024 Sol Siegal Scholarship program is accepting applications now through March 3, 2023.

For the 2023-2024 school year, the scholarship amount increased to $2,500 for new recipients and $2,000 for renewals. Find out more on IamOlympicSteel.com.

Encourage your high school senior, high school graduate, or college student enrolled in a full-time post-secondary undergraduate program to invest in their future and submit an application by March 3, 2023.
