Tuition Reimbursement Helps Employees with Educational Expenses

Are you thinking about continuing or completing your education?

Did you know Olympic Steel has an Educational Assistance Program that provides financial assistance for approved programs?


Who’s Eligible?


Employees who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply for tuition assistance:


  • Full-time and part-time regular employees
  • Employees who work at least 30 hours per week
  • Employees who have completed 90 days of continuous service and their introductory period prior to the beginning of an approved class/program are eligible.


What Programs Are Approved?


Approved programs are required educational courses or sessions, delivered by an accredited college, university, technical school or certified institution to obtain one of the following degrees:


  • General Educational Development (GED)
  • Two Year Associate Degree
  • Four Year Undergraduate Degree
  • Graduate Degree



Approved areas of study at the college level must be beneficial and applicable to jobs at Olympic Steel. The course of study taken must be applicable to the employee’s current or targeted future position with Olympic Steel.

How to Get Started



Applications must be approved by the employee’s immediate supervisor and the General Manager (or Vice President for Corporate employees). Click here to read the full Educational Assistance Policy.
