We are thrilled to introduce the newest members of Olympic Steel’s DEI Council. These passionate individuals volunteered to help further our commitment to building an inclusive workplace where every voice is heard and valued.

At Olympic Steel, we recognize that a diverse and inclusive workplace not only fosters innovation but also strengthens our Company’s culture for future success.

What is “diversity, equity and inclusion,” or DEI? It’s a focus on our culture and making sure Olympic Steel is a welcoming environment with opportunities for everyone. It’s also an opportunity to learn more about our teammates, so we can celebrate the many unique backgrounds and experiences that make up our organization. It’s this fresh and varied perspective that will fuel our Company’s safe, profitable and sustainable growth into the future.

And, it’s something we’ve been working on “behind the scenes” to understand best practices, gather professional recommendations and resources, collect feedback to better understand the current state of our organization, and to provide training for our Leaders. Now, we are ready to move forward with a team of engaged individuals from across the enterprise!
