A Look at 2024 Corporate Citizenship

We are contributing to our communities where we live and work - nearly a quarter of a million dollars in donations to 100 charitable organizations in 13 states, representing 23 of our locations and every brand.

Corporate Citizenship Committees work hard all year long to find ways to raise money, involve employees and help others in our surrounding communities. From jeans days to donation drives, raffles and golf outings – we’re supporting charitable organizations all year long and we couldn’t do it without your enthusiasm and participation.

WHAT WE DID

When it comes to helping others, the possibilities are endless. We’re influenced by the varying needs of our surrounding communities and the committees’ preferences and strengths. Some locations love a raffle to raise money and others prefer to attend events outside of work. No matter what the event – every little bit helps. Our most popular events include donation drives (school supplies, non-perishable food, hygiene products, clothing and toys) and fundraisers (bake sales, coupon book sales, golf outings, and raffles).

HOW MUCH WE COLLECTED

With amounts ranging from $100 to over $35,000, every donation matters. As an organization, we raised $232,000 ($212,000 cash donations and $20,000 in-kind donations). What’s incredible is that 50% of that amount was funded by our generous Employees! The Company funded about 23% of the donations and the rest was a combination of employee and company support.

WHO WE SUPPORTED

Our collective efforts helped 100 charitable organizations work toward achieving their goals in 2024. Here’s a handful of who we supported last year:

WORKING FOR WISHES

Our Company Philanthropy is Make-A-Wish, so it is no surprise that we raised the most money in support of our year-long Working for Wishes campaign. Totaling $97,535, this amount was achieved through employee participation in divisional fundraisers and community donations, especially in the case of our Integrity Stainless Annual Golf Outing (which contributed just over $35,000 to Make-A-Wish this year - AMAZING!). Two other fundraisers that add up quickly are coupon book sales and raffles - combining funds from all of these events across the Company raised $33,500 for Make-A-Wish in 2024! Do you think we can reach $100,000 for Make-A-Wish this year?

WANT TO GET INVOLVED?

It takes a special group of people who, in addition to their job responsibilities, participate in their division’s Corporate Citizenship Committee. These teams identify organizations to support, plan fundraisers and events, and work hard to generate interest from all employees. Without their dedication and commitment, none of our Corporate Citizenship success would be possible.

If you would like to participate in identifying and planning your division’s events, please reach out to your HR Generalist.
