  • “While only one day of the year is dedicated solely to honoring our Veterans, Americans must never forget the sacrifices that many of our fellow countrymen have made to defend our country & protect our freedoms” – Randy Neugebauer. I couldn’t agree with him more. Centuries of true Americans have fought & continue to fight today for the country they love, the freedoms America stands for & the call to “do more” to protect its citizens. Duty, Honor, Country…that’s why I joined myself, even back when women weren’t allowed in combat, I felt the need to protect those who love this country as much as I do & would still today, even at my age. I’m sure that feeling was felt by all of our Veterans who enlisted. That “call” they felt shouldn’t go unrecognized or unappreciated. When I see military personnel & Veterans, I thank them personally. I buy their dinner (anonymously) if I see them in a restaurant. I pay for their gas pumped. I make it a POINT to do so in front of my grandchildren, so they learn that these men & women are treasured, appreciated & loved for their love of our country & fighting for the freedoms that most of us take for granted. I want to ensure that the next generation of my family honors Veterans & our military for the sacrifices they’ve made – so military & Veterans know they’re backed, supported & loved. Our military has one “Commander in Chief” & must follow orders, no matter what the order is, so please don’t ever condemn a service member or veteran for the orders they had to carry out – it was their duty. Take the time to honor these ordinary people who did something extraordinary so that we may all enjoy what we treasure most in our lives. “Our flag does not fly because the wind moves it, it flies with the last breath of each soldier who died protecting it” – author unknown. – Tracy Feeman, Inside Sales Representative, Sr. (Bettendorf, IA)

  • Thank you for serving our country proudly and for keeping our country safe. – (USAF E3 Fuel Specialist) Frederick Vazquez, Shipping and Receiving (Milford, CT)
