Action Stainless & Alloys Celebrates Manufacturing Day

October is Manufacturing Month, and Action Stainless & Alloys is one of several Olympic Steel locations taking pride in the role our Company plays as a critical part of the American manufacturing supply chain!

Each October, manufacturers across America celebrate our industry on the first Friday of the month, MFG Day. 

Olympic Steel divisions kept the celebration going all month long with giveaways for employees and banners on display to remind us that Manufacturers Make America!

Action Stainless & Alloys Rock Hill, South Carolina facility took their celebration one step further. The division closed early so all employees could participate in a BBQ and a corn hole competition – celebrating the role they play in keeping America moving.

“The event was a big hit and employees enjoyed gathering together to snap a photo in their Safety Challenge shirts they earned earlier this year during the second quarter Safety Challenge (see below),” says Dana Beard, Manager – Human Resources, Safety & Health.
