February 2021 Safety Update
Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are trending in the right direction, plus four Poka Yokes and 4 Near Miss Reports to review.
January 2021 Safety data is in, and although we’ve recorded 2 more injuries when compared to January 2020, our Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are all trending in the right direction and show that the efforts we’re making each day have a long-lasting effect on our overall scores.
Key Performance Indicators, the measurable values we use to evaluate our progress toward meeting our Safety objectives, showed improvement in all three categories – OSHA recordable injuries, Other Case Incident Rate (OCIR) injury events and Days Away, Restricted or Transferred (DART) injury events.
- OSHA recordable injuries decreased 51%, from 96 in 2020 to 47 in 2021
- OCIR decreased 38.9%, from 36 in 2020 to 22 in 2021
- DART decreased 58.3%, from 60 in 2020 to 25 in 2021
