An introduction to the 2023 Enterprise Objectives and a reminder for the administrative Performance Management process.
In 2019, the Senior Leadership Team set 5-year strategic goals for Olympic Steel, which we categorized into three objectives: Be Safe, Be Profitable and Be Engaged. Despite the challenges we faced with COVID, we made great progress on these goals in the past four years. And now it’s time to think about where we’re headed in the next five years.
Our Leadership team recently completed an in-depth strategy session to help develop the foundation for a plan that will continue to grow the business safely, profitably and sustainably. More detailed objectives will be shared in the months ahead, but for now, here’s how we’re staying Focused on the Future:
While that planning work is in process (throughout 2023), you can continue to have an impact on Olympic Steel’s success by aligning your goals with the organization and identifying ways you can BE SAFE, BE PROTIFABLE and BE ENGAGED. Keep in mind, the 2023 Performance Management timeline is slightly adjusted. Please plan to have your individual Performance Management goals in place by January 31.
