In 2019, Olympic Steel set out to strengthen our culture, and it began with an engaging internal communications strategy. Working with Blue Communications, the I AM Olympic Steel brand was born.


Blue submitted the campaign for an industry award and won – two awards!


Hermes Creative Award


The first recognition, the Hermes Creative Award, honored Olympic Steel’s employee engagement campaign in the Public Relations/Communications Strategic Programs, Internal Communications category.


The Hermes Creative Award “is one of the oldest and largest creative competitions in the world. Hermes winners bring their ideas to life through traditional and digital platforms. Each year, competition judges evaluate the creative industry’s best publications, branding collateral, websites, videos, and advertising marketing and communication programs.”

Stevie Award


The second recognition, the Stevie Award, highlights the best-of-the-best in the industry. The I AM Olympic Steel campaign won a Bronze Stevie Award in the Communications or PR Campaign of the Year – Internal Communications – 100 or More Employees category.
