UPDATE: HR Benefits Plan Assignments

UHC plan assignment issue has been resolved. Contact HR to be sure 2022 claims are processed correctly.

Early last week, we brought an issue to your attention that originated within our medical provider’s systems. We have been working closely with UnitedHealthcare (UHC), whose data feed also impacts Delta Dental plans, to correct plan assignments and details within the UHC system. We believe the issues for both vendors have been addressed.


New medical cards will arrive to those impacted in the next few weeks. (There are no medical cards needed to use your Delta Dental services; however, you can find a reference card on SteelPerks.com. Your provider is able to confirm your coverage in their system.)


IMPORTANT: If you’ve used your benefits at all since the new medical plan year began on January 1, please contact the HR Help Desk at Corporate.HR@olysteel.com or 216.242.2886 (internal extension 19780). The HR Team will work with UHC to ensure your claims have been coded correctly, and if necessary, reconcile claims for reimbursement.
