Vanessa L. Whiting Joins Our Board of Directors

Vanessa L. Whiting is the newest member of Olympic Steel’s Board of Directors. She will serve as an independent director effective November 7, 2019.

As president of A.E.S Management, Vanessa is the owner and operator of several Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen locations. She is also an attorney, who has been named one of the top 100 lawyers by Northern Ohio Live, with extensive experience in real estate and small business enterprise law. A 2019 Cleveland Crain’s Women of Note honoree, Whiting has been recognized for her local civic involvement in addition to her professional success.

Whiting earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois. She also holds a master’s degree from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and a bachelor’s degree from Duke University where she graduated cum laude.
