Prior to the sale of the Detroit division, Kevin Eldridge, Corporate Accounting Manager and the Corporate IT Team put in a tremendous amount of time and effort behind the scenes to prepare for the transition of systems and data. The team worked together over the summer to create separate SEMS and Lawson environments that made it possible to segregate Detroit’s data from the rest of the Company’s data, while all systems continued to operate.
Lesson Learned:
Teamwork is essential to nearly everything we do. In this case, the team thought outside the box and pooled all resources and knowledge available in-house to get the job done.
